On April 26, 2026, the Harbin Sun Island Scenic Area was filled with the vitality of spring, with green willows swaying along the embankment and the water rippling gently. A half marathon event around the Sun Island, themed "I CLEAN I SEE I RUN MY WAY BEYOND 2030", was held here with great enthusiasm. Harbin Shimada Big Bird Industrial Co., Ltd. has been hosting the Sun Island running event for five years, attracting the participation of company employees and their families, as well as partners. This time, more than 20 members of the China Merchants Bank team also joined in the fun run. Everyone ran in the gentle spring breeze, getting close to nature and enjoying the precious time with their children, jointly creating a beautiful picture that integrates health, environmental protection, family affection, and teamwork spirit.

I CLEAN: With a Clean Heart, Paying Tribute to the Pure Spring Land.

In the early morning of the Sun Island, the air was fresh and clean. Before the event officially started, all participants voluntarily launched the "Traceless Start" environmental protection action - each holding a biodegradable garbage bag, picking up the scattered debris along the path. This action was deeply in line with the theme of "I CLEAN". As a leading enterprise in the industrial cleaning field, Big Bird Industrial has always engraved the word "clean" into its genes: clean products, clean environment, and clean hearts. The partners of China Merchants Bank also responded positively, joining hands with the employees of Big Bird Industrial to leave a purer spring appearance for the Sun Island. "We not only clean industrial parts, but also hope to awaken everyone's respect for the natural environment," said Li, the chairman of Big Bird Industrial, in a brief speech before the start. "This run is towards 2030, towards a more sustainable future."

I SEE: Seeing the Scenery, Seeing the Company, Seeing Each Other. 

At 8:30 a.m., with a crisp starting whistle, the team set off along the internal landscape avenue of the Sun Island. The 20.30-kilometer half marathon route passed through the cable-stayed bridge, the Three-Link Pier, Swan Lake, Bathing in the Sun Platform, and the Moon Bridge, among other iconic scenic spots. The spring breeze blew over the surface of the Songhua River, bringing the fresh fragrance of grass and trees; the forsythia was in full bloom, and the yellow flower sea and the running figures formed a flowing poem. Many employees brought their children - the parent-child group became the softest scenery on the track. Children of five or six years old rode small bikes, running side by side with their parents; slightly older teenagers held their parents' hands, identifying the flowers and birds along the way while running. A research and development engineer said with a smile, "I often work overtime and rarely have the chance to run outdoors with my child like this. Today, he is even more energetic than me!" "I SEE" is not only about seeing the scenery, but also about seeing the encouragement in the eyes of family members, the support from colleagues, and the trust on the faces of partners. At the supply points, the staff prepared supplies for everyone with care. This small act extended the teamwork from the meeting room to the sunny green shade.

On the track of the Sun Island, there were both speed-chasing sports enthusiasts and those who enjoyed the process at a leisurely pace. Big Bird Industrial's "running god" Gong Haitao was the first to cross the finish line in 2 hours and 13 minutes; there was also a "not in a hurry group" that walked fast and ran slowly, chatting and laughing all the way. Everyone had their own pace, and everyone reached the finish line in their own comfortable way - this was the vivid interpretation of "I RUN MY WAY".

BEYOND 2030: Run Continuously, Vision Unceasing. 

The event's finish line was set at the Chinese Dream Check-in Point on Sun Island. A total of 14 members completed the 20.30-kilometer goal. Each finisher received a specially designed commemorative medal featuring the logo of Big Bird Industrial and the words "I CLEAN I SEE BEYOND 2030". The company also prepared a souvenir for the children participating in the event - a volleyball, which encourages them to keep exercising and have a strong body.
